2025 Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country Summer Camps:

Football: August 4-August 8, 2025. 8:00 am-10:00 am. Location: CMJH Field. Cost $75.00.

Girls' Volleyball: August 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025. 3:00 pm -5:30 pm. Location: CMJH Gym. Cost $60.00.

Cross Country: TBD Location CMJH. Cost $50.00.

Fall Sports I- Football, Volleyball, & Cross Country:
Registration window: July 14th-August 6th, 2025.

Official start date (registration not accepted)**- Monday, August 11, 2025

*The first official practice for all sports will start on Monday, August 11th.

The football teams will practice Monday through Friday, and practice times will be communicated by each grade level coaching team. Cheyenne Mountain Junior High will provide all football equipment, except cleats. Each athlete needs to bring a refillable water bottle to practice each day.

*Volleyball-Tryouts will be held: Monday, August 11th-Wednesday, August 13th from 3:30pm-5:15pm. A, B, and C teams will be determined at the end of the afternoon on August 13th. Practices will run Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-5:00pm until games begin. Once games begin A and B teams will play two games a week and run practices the other three days. The C team schedule is flexible and dependent on the number of C teams in our league. Coaches will send information out about an upcoming parent meeting and schedules.

Cross Country- Practices will begin on Monday, August 11th. Coaches will supervise trail runs and athletes will follow designated routes during each practice. Students must follow and stay with coaches and athletes during practice. We will have practice Monday-Friday, unless we have a meet. We will run approximately 2-5 miles a day during practice.

Fall Sports II- Wrestling & Girls’ Soccer:
Registration window: Monday, September 15 - Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

*Wrestling- Cheyenne Mountain Junior High Wrestling develops young wrestlers in positive, safe, character-based programs. We focus on improving individual abilities and personal skills, encouraging teammates, making new friends, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and having fun.

*Girls' Soccer- Tryouts will be held at CMJH starting on October 6th from 3:30-4:45pm. Practices run from 3:30-4:45pm at CMJH with home games being played at Cheyenne Mountain High School.

Winter Sports- Boys’ Basketball & Girls' Basketball:
Boys’ Basketball Registration window: Monday, November 3rd - Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Official start date (registration not accepted)**- Monday, December 1, 2025.

Boys' Basketball- Tryouts will begin on December 1st from 3:30-4:45 pm @ CMJH. Practices will be held every day after school from 3:30-4:45 pm.

Softball Info: Tryouts will begin on March 30th from 3:45-5:15 pm @ CMHS. Practices will be held every day after school from 3:45-5:15 pm at CMHS.

Boys' Soccer info: Tryouts will begin on March 30th from 3:30-4:45 pm @ CMJH. Practices will be held every day after school from 3:30-4:45 pm.

Track info: Practice times are 3:35-5:00 pm at CMHS starting March 30th. Pickup is at the track.

**Late Registration: must check in at the main office with Mrs. Callaway, CMJH Athletic Coordinator, and athletes may not be approved and accepted in time for the official start date.**
