Cross Country Registration and Fee (turn in at the main office):
Registration Window - Wednesday, July 29-Tuesday, August 4,  2020
*Late Registration- must check-in with the AD in the main office

Fee: $43.00 (cash, check made out to CMJH, or credit card through website)

Fall Season Official Start (Registration not accepted) - Wednesday, August 12, 2020 (DATE CHANGE)

CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION

WELCOME TO THE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM! 

Cross Country is a TEAM sport that builds confidence, endurance, and success both on the field and in the classroom. If you give 100% in practice and have a positive attitude, there is nothing you can't accomplish. We have a great group of runners that like to work hard and have fun. I hope you like to run. If you don't, this is not the sport for you. After six weeks in the program, you will be transformed into a trail running machine!

PRACTICE: Cross Country practice will begin on Wednesday, August 12th at 3:00pm. This first practice will be a 30-minute informational meeting for athletes and parents.  All athletes should turn in the registration paperwork and fee during the Fall Sports Registrations window (Wednesday, July 29 through Tuesday, August 4, 7:30-3:30 in the CMJH front office).

Trail runs and practices will start on Thursday, August 13th at 3pm.   Coaches will supervise trail runs and athletes will follow designated routes during each practice. Students must follow and stay with coaches and athletes during practice. Practice will end around 4:15pm the first week.

Beginning Monday, August 17 practice will begin at 3:35pm and will end around 4:50pm at the Junior High.

We will have practice every weekday (M-F), unless we have a meet. We will run approximately 2-5 miles a day during practice.

YOU MUST have a current physical, registration packet, and fee into the front office no later than Friday, August 7th at 3:00pm before you can practice with the team. YOU CANNOT practice with the team until all paperwork is in. You need 5 practices completed before you are eligible for the first meet.
